The time has come soon: those who pre-order the PlayStation 5 will receive the console on November 19th. If you have not yet been able to reserve a copy, we will inform you here about all the current details about pre-ordering the PS5 until the release.

Update October 16: The PlayStation 5 is currently sold out across the board, but occasional availability is reported again and again. tip: Keep checking the different shop pages (list below) – sometimes sold out consoles are suddenly available again there.

PS5 pre-order cancellations continue

At the moment it is difficult to say if and when another pre-order phase for the PlayStation 5 could start. As Games economy reported, quite a few are being reported at the moment Pre-orders canceled. There are many reasons for this.

For one, it is closed at several online shops technical errors came, whereby more orders were accepted than consoles are actually available from Sony. For another, are now ongoing Multiple orders sorted out. Because according to Sony, only one "PlayStation 5" preorder is allowed per customer.

The location whether to Release enough consoles can be provided by the trade, even for Pre-orderremains unclear. Hence the opportunities for another wave of “PS5 pre-orders” currently rather bad. If the starting shot is given again, we will of course inform you as soon as possible.

The PS5 will appear in Germany on November 19th, according to Sony – in North America, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand the console will be available one week in advance on November 12th. The PlayStation 5 can be pre-ordered in two different versions: The All Digital Edition costs 399 euros and comes without a disc drive, while the version with a “4K Bluray” drive costs 499 euros.

Due to the great demand, both the All Digital Edition and the version with the disc drive have been sold out since the beginning of the “PlayStation 5 Preorder” phase.
