The Old God N'Zoth has awakened and threatens all life in Azeroth and beyond the borders of our game world. In Nyalotha, the awakened octopus god is waiting for our heroes, while Furorion with Magni and MOTHER in the heart chamber do everything possible to contain the corruption of the Old God. At the same time, Lich King Bolvar creates new death knights from the dead of the Fourth War, who arm themselves in the ice crown for the fight against N'Zoth and other villains.
Further Highlights from Patch 8.3 are the new Allied Peoples – the fluffy Vulpera and the robotic Mechagnome, which will join the Horde and Alliance in a few days. But there are more innovations to marvel at. In this overview we introduce you to all new transmog and character adjustments from WoW Patch 8.3.
Revised eye effects and Death Knight blades
With Patch 8.3, Blizzard is reworking the effects of the eyes of many races, including the eye effects of the blood elves, night elves and worgen. The image comparison shows you the live and the PTR version of the respective graphic adjustments in the eyes of the male worgen.
You can also expect a class-specific adaptation of the Glow effects of the eyes for death knights, All death knights can also purchase new swords from Quartermaster Ozorg for a few silver coins. These two- and one-handed swords impress with different colors including a red, blue or green glow effect.
Dance animation for the Bear form of the Guardian Druid
The unique bear form of the Guardian Druid from WoW (buy now for € 14.99): Legion is already a few years old. Still, the beefy bear, the shape of which the druid tanks in the mage tower could get hold of in the last WoW expansion, couldn't dance. That changes now with Patch 8.3! In the video below you can watch the dance of the artifact bear form from WoW Legion.
The new allies peoples
Vulpera and Mechagnome are the new allies of Horde and Allianz. Both races have special ethnic skills and naturally shine with a unique traditional armor set.
- Here you will find all information about the vulpera
- And here is everything you need to know about the Mechagnomen
Traditional armor for worgen and goblins
With the new update, the worgen and goblins get their own traditional armor. You can get both transmog sets after completing a short questline Level 120 earn. However, you can only start the quest series if you have achieved an awesome reputation with Gilneas or the Bilgewater Cartel.
Become a traitor and serve with N'lyeth the Old God N'Zoth
Patch 8.3 is a new quest for players who find the Old God N'Zoth really cool: Kill members of your faction on his behalf. With a bit of luck, in Open PvP you can get an item called N'lyeth, Sliver of N'Zoth loot that makes you servant of N'Zoth. Uses the dagger N'yleth, Sliver of N'Zoth, which allows you to temporarily switch factions and attack your former allies. After that you have to Alliance bombers / Horde assassins achieve by eliminating ten opposing faction players without dying themselves. As a reward for completing the quest, there are conquest points, the title "Servant of N'Zoth" and a toy version of N'yleth, Sliver of N'Zoth.
New sets in the style of the Black Empire
The new "catch-up" armor is similar to the BoA equipment from the Timeless Island (Mists of Pandaria). You can capture the tokens from random mobs during the invasions in Uldum and the Valley of Eternal Flowers. All armor share their appearance with the Ny'alotha sets from LFR mode.
The tokens have a specific armor type and location. The armor has a base item level of 410 (415 for azerite items).
Four new factions including new tabards come into play with Patch 8.3.
Horrible masks from N'zoth
You can earn the five faceless masks during the vision scenarios in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. In Terrible Visions, we explore a twisted version of the Alliance and Horde capitals alone or with other players. These show a world in which the Black Empire of N'Zoth has regained strength and the Old God has won.
There are a lot of challenges to overcome in this nightmare, but we have to be mindful of our minds, which are continually crumbling. If this is too easy for you, you can use the masks of the faceless to make it an even harder task. You can bag five masks by defeating opponents, which in turn starts a quest. If you master this, you can put the masks on in the ventricle and then activate them in a terrible vision for special debuffs.
Why should you use the masks in WoW Patch 8.3?
It doesn't sound really appealing at first to activate these debuffs. But for some success you will want to put on the masks, because this is the only way to achieve meta success Through the Depths of Visionswho gave you the new mount, a snake from N'Zoth, unlocked.
On top of that there is a transmog version for each mask:
There are new details on "Black Dragonscale" backpack from Furorion! You can use the transmogable cloak template in WoW Patch 8.3 for 40,000 Corrupted memento buy from Furorion yourself. You earn the currency in the wake of the Terrible Visions.
Legendary weapons and warglazes from Azzinoth
With WoW Patch 8.3 the Legendarys will be transmogrifiable, but there are two exceptions: 1) In the future, the transmog template for Azzinoth's war gilves will only be available to demon hunters who have mastered the associated time migration success. 2) Legendarys linked to quests can only be transmogged by the classes that had access to the respective quest at the time – see also WoW Patch 8.3: New restrictions for Legendary transmogrifications,
Weapon illusion and other transmog templates
If you are lucky, Alliance heroes may end up with the new weapon illusion at the end of Stormwind's Terrible Vision scenario in Alleria's Corrupted Chest Illusion: Void Edge snag. There are also new weapons that you can use as a transmog template: Ambered Greatstaff. Cleaver of the Fractured Dynasty and Paragon's Will,
BfA PvP Season 4 Rewards
