As early as January 2020, we reported here about the upcoming release of Minecraft School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is currently under development by a small team of students called The Floo Network. After more than four years, the project has now been made available to the public for the first time. You can get an overview of the Harry Potter role-playing game in Minecraft in the gameplay trailer, which we have included for you below.
Initially, the makers only wanted to recreate famous locations from the Harry Potter universe in Minecraft. After a while, however, the project developed into a real role-playing game that you can now play together with your friends. The activities of the title currently include exploring Hogwarts, fighting monsters and enemies and uncovering numerous secrets and mysteries in the game world. The project is currently in the alpha phase.
On the Gumroad website Minecraft School of Witchcraft and Wizardry can be downloaded. The download is free – but you can also make a small donation to the development team to show your support for the project. Also at patreon the game can be supported. Here supporters can even look forward to some advantages. The Floo Network team always gives new details about role-playing on their own Discord server known.
