Amazon distributes free games and free content

from David Martin
Amazon announces the launch of Prime Gaming – and is renaming Twitch Prime. Amazon Prime members receive free and exclusive content for selected games each month, including FIFA 20, Apex Legends, Red Dead Redemption 2 Online and GTA 5 Online. There is also a changing range of free games every month. A direct link to a Twitch account is no longer necessary with Prime Gaming. In the article we summarize the details.

Amazon is launching Prime gaming before – and promises new free content and free games for all members every month. Prime members could already register on Twitch beforehand and thus secure a lot of in-game loot and free games. The company had already mentioned which free games will be available in August. With Prime Gaming, a link to a Twitch account is no longer necessary.

"Members can access new in-game content in FIFA 20, Apex Legends, Grand Theft Auto Online, League of Legends and more than 20 other popular games for PC, consoles and mobile worth hundreds of euros," said Amazon. As before with Twitch Prime, Prime Gaming will also offer a monthly changing range of free games. This month there are more than 20 full versions for free, including SNK classics and the indie retro brawler Treachery in Beatdown City.

As soon as you link the games to your account, you can keep them permanently – even if you cancel your Prime membership. Amazon had offered gaming benefits via Twitch Prime since 2016. "Nowadays Prime Gaming delivers more content for more games than ever before, plus more free titles and a monthly subscription for a Twitch channel," announced the shipping giant at the start. Prime membership costs 7.99 euros per month, or 69 euros a year. New customers receive a 30-day trial subscription.

Supports PC Games – it only takes a minute. Thank you!

We give all readers daily free news, articles, guides, videos and podcasts on their favorite games. So far we have financed this site through advertising and kept it as free of clickbaits or paid items as possible, but since COVID-19 this has become increasingly difficult. Many companies are cutting or cutting their advertising budgets for 2020. Budgets that we unfortunately have to rely on if we want to continue to offer PC games free of charge as usual in the future.

For this reason we turn to you now. As a PC Games supporter, you can support us so that we can continue to offer our content in the usual form free of charge without introducing a paywall or publishing clickbait news like "And you won't believe what happened next …" . Every contribution, large or small, is valuable.
