Players can not only look forward to new island visitors, but also to new events. Nintendo is announcing the May celebration for the first week of May. Here you travel to a new island – and, according to Nintendo, "meet a special visitor who seems familiar to you". So far, the makers have not disclosed any further details. However, Nintendo provides a clear indication of the new character with the trailer for the big April update. Players are sure: In May, tomcat Olli (Rover) comes into the switch game.
Nintendo has the big one Spring Animal Crossing: New Horizons update released for download. Patch 1.2.0 is now available from your switch. Players can look forward to the two new island visitors Reiner and Gerd. An art gallery also opens in the museum. With the update, Nintendo is also preparing the life simulation for new events. For example, the publisher is announcing the May May celebration on – the event runs from May 1st to 7th. "In the first week of May, players can use a May party ticket once. This allows them to take a trip from the island airport to an island that looks very different from those you get to know on the usual island tours," writes Nintendo.
You come across a special visitor, whom you probably know from the predecessors. Which character is coming back soon Animal Crossing: New Horizons (buy now for € 47.99) celebrating has not been confirmed yet. However, Nintendo has put a tell-tale note in the trailer for the big April update. Between minutes 1:09 and 1:13 you get first insights into the new island, which you can visit for the event – and also see the new character. The new visitor is shown at the top right of the picture. Although the character is only shown from behind, it is without a doubt tomcat Olli (Rover).
Players still know the cat with a checked sweater from its predecessors, where he had primarily taken on organizational roles. He was often the first character you saw in the games – and with his help he was able to determine the gender and appearance of your character. In Animal Crossing: Wild World he organized contact mode. Players were able to send message in a bottle to other players' islands. It remains to be seen what role Olli will play in New Horizons.
