Another designer leaves the game project

In the summer, both narrative designer Brian Mitsoda and creative director Ka'ai Cluney left the game project Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. According to Mitsoda, who was significantly involved in the first part of the RPG series, he was completely unprepared for the dismissal . Now publisher Paradox Interactive announced that another important developer is no longer involved in the project.

Senior Narrative Designer Cara Ellison is no longer part of the development team. There were rumors a while ago that she had left Harduit Labs development studio after deleting all references to the game from her Twitter profile. In addition, the studio League of Geeks announced that she is now working on a project.

Bloodlines 2: Trailer for the limited Collector's Edition

Paradox Interactive presents a Collector's Edition of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. In the video you can see the contents of the collector's edition limited to 3,000 copies. The package includes an Elif figure, a vinyl with the soundtrack and a detailed map of Seattle. The Collector's Edition is available in two versions: with and without a game.

"We can confirm that Cara Ellison has decided to leave Hardsuit Labs and no longer participate in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (buy now € 67.89 /€ 53.99 ) is working, "said a spokesman for Paradox." Cara has brought fresh ideas to the project and many of her contributions will be featured in the game that launches next year. We thank her for her work on Bloodlines 2 and wish her the best in all of her future endeavors. "

What is interesting about the statement is that apparently only part of their work can be found in the game. Have some things been deleted? It is not unusual, however, that the authors and designers of the plot are no longer needed towards the end of a game project. But since there is still no release date for the RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and the game will only start sometime in 2021, there is still a lot to be done on the project. Hopefully the story will not suffer as the authors progress.
