Approximate start date for Season 2 is certain

The first season of Disney's Star Wars: The Mandalorian series has ended. The fans are now waiting for season 2. This has now been given an approximate start date.

After eight episodes, the series went on Star Wars: The Mandalorian over. Since Disney has already given the green light for Season 2, it is now time to wait. But how long?

It still takes

As Disney announced, Season 2 of The Mandalorian will start in autumn 2020. Showrunner Jon Favreau has not given an exact date. It will probably start again in November, as was the case with season 1. Favreau also featured a character from a Gamorreaner on Twitter. The green-skinned creatures with the pig faces were seen in Star Wars: Episode 6 – The Return of the Jedi as Guards of Jabba the Hutt.

Favreau could have given a hint that the Gamorreaner play a role in the second season of The Mandalorian. But that's not the only thing we "encounter" in season 2 from the original trilogy. Supposedly we're going to meet characters from the Skywalker saga. Who knows, maybe our popular anti-hero will also meet some well-known characters in the new season. A meeting with a young Luke Skywalker would have something. This could be embodied by actor Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier), who according to a photo looks confusingly like a young hatch. Now it's time to wait for autumn.
