The real news about the beta of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic is that the heroes on the beta servers can now play the quests of the Sha’tari Skyguard and in Ogri’la. Much more interesting for us, however, is: Are you actually in beta and putting Outland through its paces?
The WoW developers who are currently working on the reprocessing of the contents of Burning Crusade Classic have announced that the BCC beta now includes the quests for the Sha’tari Skyguard and Ogri’la – but the in Switched off again shortly. At least that’s the plan of the WoW creators. Similar to the solo player alpha of Diablo 2 Resurrected, the quests of the Skyguard and the Ogres in Blade’s Edge Mountains are to be deactivated again on April 12, 2021. The developers do not explain why this is so.
Who does not remember: The sky guard takes care of the aviation security in the forest of Terokkar; there you were able to earn the flying nether rays with some effort. In a few days that the quests are now in the game, that shouldn’t actually work – so it’s not really about testing the mounts ^^ The ogres in the Blade’s Edge Mountains, on the other hand, have some interesting items in store if you increase their reputation – and some of the coolest quest mechanics. We only remember the Shartuul event, which brought you exhausted items that you could upgrade to suitable armor items using Apexis splinters.
If you have access to the Burning Crusade Classic beta, we hope you enjoy quests and bug reports (via F6 in the game). The Contribution by Community Manager Kaivax in the forums you can read here.
But the question arises: are you actually in the beta of Burning Crusade Classic? Your answer interests us insofar as we have a great Outland fan sitting here in the editorial office who would do nothing more than to get on the beta server – but the apparent lottery process of the Blizzard devs has prevented him from having fun so far. Have you been lucky so far and been able to set foot in the Classic Outland or have you also looked into the tube so far, although you would actually like to gamble (especially in such unfriendly weather outside ^^).
Take part in our mini-survey, we look forward to your comments too!
