Assassin's Creed Valhalla: That's how big the map is
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has been released: The new Viking action from Ubisoft is available in stores from today. In our big test of AC Valhalla you can read how good the new action adventure has become. The highlights include a large game world that is just waiting to be explored by you. The Viking setting takes you to Northern England and Norway – including great surroundings. The map of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is not quite as expansive as that of the predecessor Odyssey. However, it comes with less idle time. It's just fun to explore the map – whether on foot, by boat or on horseback.
To give you an impression of the diversity of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla map, we rode through the whole of northern England for a video – from the southernmost to the northernmost point of the map. You can watch the result in the stream below. Snowy areas, densely overgrown forests, muddy swamps, wide fields and lively villages await you. Players in AC Valhalla not only travel to Norway and the north of England. (buy now € 53.10 )
There are also other areas to explore: For spoiler reasons, we don't want to go into that at this point. If you need tips for getting started with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you will find it in our guide. Before you start for the first time, you should install the 1.0.2 update, for example to get German audio tracks. AC Valhalla is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Stadia. The PS5 version will appear with the launch of the new console on November 19th.
