Larian Studios announced that the first gameplay for the upcoming RPG Baldur's Gate 3 will be shown at PAX East in late February. A live presentation of the highly anticipated role-playing sequel will take place at the fair.
Can't wait to see how Baldur's Gate 3 looks like? You have to be patient a little longer, but the Larian Studios have now announced that the first gameplay will be presented live at the game fair PAX East.
The best RPG ever?
Swen Vincke, Larians Creative Director, plays BG 3 live on stage with a guest. Meanwhile, he reveals more about the story and the gameplay features. Then visitors can ask questions about the RPG. There will also be more gameplay presentations at the Larian stand.
The studio explains that on February 27, at 9:30 p.m., we will learn why so little has been said about Baldur's Gate 3 and in which direction the sequel to the well-known role-playing series is developing. A new video about the production of the game talks about Larian wanting to make the best role-playing game ever developed. These are big words and soon we will know what's behind them. The RPG is said to offer over 100 hours of quests and stories and even surprise fans of Divinity: Original Sin 2.
There is also a little hint to the story:
A great power that consumes you from within weighs heavily on you.
How far do you let her lead you into the dark?
The fate of Faerun is in your hands.
Are you going to bring salvation or tear the land into the abyss?
What could this story hint mean? In the video we also see tiny sections from the production of the role-playing game, including very detailed landscapes and detailed characters. We will learn more on February 27th.
