A press release from Google Stadia gave a very clear indication of a release date for Baldur's Gate 3 in 2020. The developer studio Larian has now commented on this.
It seemed a little strange right from the start when a press release from Google Stadia indicated that Baldur's Gate 3 would still appear in 2020. The Larian Studios have now clarified this.
Now what about the release?
A spokesman for Larian told PCGamesN: "We have not announced a release date and have been incorrectly included in this email."
Interestingly, Larian doesn't say Baldur's Gate 3 is coming in 2020. Only that you were wrongly included in the press release and there is no release date yet. So there is still a chance that Google accidentally announced something here, which Larian might only want to share at the role-playing event at the end of the month.
However, it is more likely that Baldur's Gate 3 will not appear in 2020. The game has only been in development since around the end of 2017 and is set to become an epic RPG. The development time would be very short. On February 27, the developers would like to announce something about BG 3, then we should learn more about the situation.
