Baldur's Gate 3: Larian reveals, players are horny and bad – game updates
The role-playing game Baldur's Gate 3 allows you to make many decisions. This is how you determine whether you want to be good or bad. In addition, you can enter into relationships with NPCs, which also leads to sex. We already know that many players in the early access version of BG3 had sex in the game. But Sven Vincke from Larian Studios reveals more about the behavior of the fans.
This is how the BG3 players behave
"They're all great, I can tell you that," reveals Swen Vincke, founder of Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios, in an interview with IGN. "I think we have one percent (of the players) who are not interested (in romances) so we went to great lengths to have those elements in place. Anyone who says otherwise is not telling the truth, I assure you to you."
Not a few players want to sleep with Minthara, but for that they have to be angry. So they consciously do bad things, only to be able to get into bed with Minthara. However, there is also a limit. When it comes to saving children, even the worst gamers make an honorable choice. "You'd be surprised how many the Tieflings betrayed," explains Vincke, referring to a pair of figures that you come across early on. "I can see how many people slept with Minthara. There are quite a few, and to get there you have to be angry. There are certainly people who have had no moral scruples."
Surprisingly, according to Larian Studios, BG3 players don't want the NPC companions to be evil too. "There was a group of people who complained that the companions reacted disparagingly and had to have their own opinion," reveals Vincke.
How is it with you? Do you also play an evil character in Baldur's Gate 3?
