Better than “The Boys”? New superhero series finally starts on Netflix

Jupiter’s Legacy launches today on Netflix: The superhero series has long been seen as a Netflix counterpart to The Boys; You can now find out for yourself whether it deserves the comparison.

The new superhero series Jupiter’s Legacy went on May 7, 2021 with the first season on Netflix online. It has been compared to The Boys on Amazon Prime before, because it sheds light on them darker side of superheroism. In Jupiter’s Legacy, you are confronted with the question of what would happen if superheroes grow old and have children: The stars in Jupiter’s Legacy got their supernatural abilities in their 30s – and their offspring have some problems following in their parents’ footsteps to kick.

The Superheldenfamiliendrama was created by showrunner Steven S. DeKnight (known for series like Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and Spartacus), who was eliminated during filming due to creative differences. Sang Kyu Kim then took on his role as the showrunner who worked on the Netflix series Altered Carbon.

In Jupiter’s Legacy treten unter anderem Josh Duhamel (Sheldon Sampson / The Utopian), Ben Daniels (Walter Sampson / Brainwave), Leslie Bibb (Grace Sampson / Lady Liberty) und Elena Kampouris (Chloe Sampson) im Main-Cast auf.

A second season has not yet been confirmed. So a sequel to Jupiter’s Legacy is very likely to be related to the commercial success of the first episodes. As usual on Netflix, the whole first season of the series was published directly on the release and can now be brought by you.
