Gearbox Software releases a new update for Borderlands 3 for download. To apply the patch, go to the main menu of the first person shooter and wait until a sign appears indicating that the hotfix has been installed. The patch notes are already available – the list of changes and innovations is extensive. The main focus is on comfort improvements and bug fixes. After the update, the manufacturer receives an alternative fire mode that spawns between 1 and 3 legendary weapons for 250 Eridium.
You can also purchase previously received mission rewards from the Veteran Reward machine next to Crazy Earl's door on Sanctuary 3. If you complete missions, the associated rewards will be added to the selection and can be purchased for Eridium. The machines have also been optimized based on community feedback. Vending machines of all kinds now have little chance of offering legendary equipment for sale. In addition, the objects with the rarity "Unusual" were removed from the pool for the object of the day. However, the developers have slightly increased the quality of the rewards that can be found in boxes and dropped by badass opponents.
The specific loot pools for bosses have been heavily revised in the Borderlands 3 update. With the changes, Gearbox Software wants to achieve a more satisfactory farming experience. To achieve the goal, the developers activated respawning for bosses like Rax, Under Taker and Apollo and distributed the equipment between the bosses more evenly. There are also numerous adjustments to the anointed pool. "All equipment that currently has these anointed properties will continue to work, but equipment that is dropped after this update can no longer have these properties," the developers write.
