The people responsible at Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic have finally let the raccoon out of the bag and announced a release date for the post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu-RPG Biomutant. From May 25, 2021 we can throw ourselves into martial arts battles on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
It was already said in June 2020 that Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic the final stage of development of Biomutant has reached. But while other studios were ramping up their marketing engines at such a time, the post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu RPG was quiet for a while.
We were all the more surprised when, out of nowhere, the release date of Biomutant suddenly appeared on Twitter a few hours ago (buy now € 119.99 ) was revealed: From May 25, 2021 we can throw ourselves into martial arts battles on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
If you want to know what's in Biomutant, you should give yourself the 10 minutes of gameplay from last year, it's worth it!
For us, Biomutant is clearly one of the most exciting potential new releases of the current gaming year. The mythical, post-apocalyptic setting looks fresh, the design of the characters and creatures is wonderfully bizarre and according to the trailer embedded above, the martial arts combat system with all the gadgets and possibilities could be extremely fun.
On Amazon you can Pre-order Biomutant. In addition to the normal version of the game, you will also find the Collector's Edition for just under 120 euros and the Atomic Edition for just under 400 euros. The "smaller" CE version contains the game, a figure, the soundtrack and a fabric poster. The more extensive Atomic Edition, on the other hand, offers a high-quality diorama instead of the figure as well as a mouse pad, a T-shirt and a steelbook in a large premium box (see videos below).
