Almost forgot, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a campaign too. The single player has been neglected so far, but new videos should now reveal a little more about some story missions.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Between the multiplayer announcement, alpha, beta and other trailers, Raven has so far had little time for the single player of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. That will be with one Blog post and made up a few videos now.

Black Ops Cold War tells a more fictional than historically correct story from the eponymous Cold War. Many of the actors are known from the first part of the Black Ops, are there Frank Woods, Jason Hudson and Alex Mason. What follows now is with a couple associated with slight spoilers of the storySo if you want to start the campaign without any prior knowledge, don't read any further.

Nowhere Left to Run

That is the title of the first mission. In January 1981 the CIA is looking for the backers of one Hostage-taking in Amsterdam. In addition to the well-known Woods and Mason, you will also learn one of the new characters, Russel Adler, know. Similar to Black Ops 1, Cold War's first mission also starts in a bar.

The mission ends with the surprising discovery of someone believed to be dead from the past and only really gets things going. [/ embed]

Fracture Jaw

The following mission is a Flashback to the Vietnam War. Here you get to know the Russian spy Perseus, the surprise from the first mission. The mission isn't the only trip to Vietnam. You not only fight your way through the jungle on foot, but also experience the war from a helicopter. [/ embed]

Desperate measures

As Double agent infiltrates the KGB headquartersto get closer to Perseus and gather information. The pace of this mission should initially be a little slower and you should be given several options to examine the buildings, of course without exposing your own camouflage. [/ embed]

The story basically revolves around the hunt for the agent Perseus and the uncovering of a conspiracy. Developer Raven takes the story of the Cold War as a model, but tells a purely fictional story in this context.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13, 2020.
