Borderlands 3: developers postpone Maliwan takedown scaling event
Gearbox postponed the planned Maliwan takedown scaling event a few days ago. This would have given players the opportunity to play the mini raid with fewer than four participants. The difficulty of the opponents would then have adapted to the number of players. The organizers have not yet announced a new date for the event.
The Gearbox team recently released "Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite", a kind of mini-raid for Borderlands 3, in which four players compete in a group. Since December 31, the makers had actually planned an event in which this mini-raid would then be played with fewer than four people. The strength of the opponents would then have adapted to the corresponding number of players. Now Gearbox had to announce that there will be a delay due to technical difficulties.
At the current time, however, the developers cannot set a new date for the event. More details will be shared with the players when there is news. Just a few weeks ago, Gearbox launched "Moxxi's Attack on the Handsome Jackpot", the first DLC for Borderlands 3 (buy now for € 49.99) released. A total of four expansions are planned for the shooter. In the course of this, the creators also revealed that Handsome Jack was originally planned to be the antagonist of the title.
