Is anyone still playing Borderlands 3 here? Then you have surely noticed that the title has been available for almost two years now. This celebratory occasion was of course also noticed by Gearbox Software, which is why they brought back the “Loot the Universe” series of events.
The title celebrates its birthday on September 13, 2021, which is why players can now look forward to five weeks full of mini-events. Since yesterday there is again the “Loot the Universe” event, in which players can get hold of legendary loot in a series of mini-events.
During the event, increased chances of certain types of legendary loot and loot beckon every week on a different planet in the Borderlands 3 universe. Each zone of an affected planet offers its own type of legendary weapons and increased chances of legendary types of equipment. So the community has to find out for themselves what types of legendary loot can be found where. You can of course keep all items that you get hold of during the event. Gearbox Software has also provided the appointment calendar, so that you know exactly when to be where:
- Week 1 (6:00 p.m. CEST, August 12th to 5:59 p.m. CEST, August 19) – Pandora
- Week 2 (6:00 p.m. CEST, August 19 to 5:59 p.m. CEST, August 26) – Promethea
- Week 3 (6:00 p.m. CEST, August 26th to 5:59 p.m. CEST, September 2) – Eden-6
- Week 4 (6:00 p.m. CEST, September 2 to 5:59 p.m. CEST, September 9) – Nekrotafeyo
In addition to the “Loot the Universe” event, two other mini-events will also start on September 9th at 6 pm, which will remain in the game for exactly one week. With “Mayhem Made Mild” you will only encounter slight modifiers in Chaos mode, and “Show Me the Eridium” ensures increased Eridium drops and lower purchase prices for Eridium items.
There should also be a big surprise for the birthday on September 13th, but it should remain a secret until then.
