Ubisoft is said to have found the actor for the next villain in Far Cry 6 with Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad. In an interview, the actor suggested a role in a video game. A confirmation of the sequel is still pending, but in the past weeks there have been repeated references to a new part of the series. The announcement could take place as part of the "Ubisoft Foward" event on July 12th.

According to current rumors, Giancarlo Esposito could be the next villain in Far Cry 6. The actor is known for his roles in Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian. In an interview, Esposito commented on an appearance in a large video game. Accordingly, this job is said to have required a new type of acting from him. The actor was not allowed to reveal more details about the project. According to a GameReactor article that has since been deleted, it is said to be Far Cry 6. A confirmation from publisher Ubisoft is still pending.

By the way, Giancarlo Esposito is not the first actor from the Breaking Bad universe to take on an important role in a Ubisoft game. Michael Mando from Better Call Saul was also found as villain Vaas in Far Cry 3. A few years ago, Ubisoft confirmed that a further, as yet unannounced AAA title would appear in stores by March 2021. There has long been a lot of speculation about a direct successor to Far Cry 5 from 2018.

It is very likely that Ubisoft Forward will talk about the new project on July 12, 2020. Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Gods and Monsters will also be available for the current generation and next-gen platforms by the end of March 2021, according to current plans.
