In the Nintendo eShop Breath of the Wild has remained constant on the since its release on March 3, 2017 Top ten best-selling games for the Switch. No wonder, after all, the game became sold almost 20 million times (Source: Video Games Wiki). About 107 million copies of the entire franchise were brought to the man (or woman). BotW is responsible for almost 19 percent of the sold games in the Zelda series – there are 14 other games. Not even Ocarina of Time can hold a candle to it, "only" more than 13 million times have been sold.

Close 18.6 million copies by Breath of the Wild were sold for the Nintendo Switch (it was also released for the Wii).
