The second beta weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been activated. Since Thursday evening, PS4 players have had the opportunity to test the Modern Warfare successor in an open beta. On PC and Xbox One, only those who pre-order the full version will initially enter the test phase. At the start of the second beta, Treyarch will provide the patch notes – and thus list the changes and innovations that the developers have implemented based on the feedback from the first beta weekend. The update includes weapon adjustments for Black Ops Cold War.

With the start of the second beta weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch is also playing an update: The update is based on feedback from PS4 players who participated in the multiplayer battles on the first test weekend. The patch notes are quite extensive. "In response to player feedback and other data from the first PS4 beta, we have released a large number of gameplay updates and optimizations for movement, weapons, attachments and more," the developers explain in the change log for the second beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

For example, the developers have slightly shortened the duration of the slides. In addition, the side speed has been reduced if you are equipped with the Duster Stock attachment. Changes are also pending for the Milano 821, AK-47, M16, Type 63, RPD and Gallo SA12 weapons. For the AK-47, for example, the recoil has been reduced slightly. The same applies to the Type 63. Smaller adjustments with regard to the damage caused are again given to the Frag grenades.

At the same time, the developers give a list of known problems in the PC beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (buy now € 53.99 ). By default, the value 0 is output for the input delay for the mouse wheel. Treyarch recommends setting this value to 80 in the settings. If several audio devices are also available, the last device in the drop-down list cannot be selected. Treyarch recommends selecting the audio devices with the keyboard. You can find the full patch notes for the second beta of Black Ops Cold War on the Treyarch website. The test phase runs until October 19th. Over the course of the weekend, the test phase on PC and Xbox One will switch to an open beta.
