The activation of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is imminent: The starting gun will be given on December 16, at 8 a.m. The necessary Treyarch already had an update this morning published: The patch prepares the first person shooter for the new season and contains individual bug fixes as well as various optimizations – details on the patch notes can be found under the link set. At the start of Season 1, there will be another update for Warzone, which will implement the Battle Royale shooter in Black Ops Cold War.
With the activation of the new season, the first Battle Pass for the current first-person shooter will also appear. In a new trailer, the developers introduce you to the Battle Pass content in more detail. The pass distinguishes between free and paid levels: Those who want to activate the premium levels and the associated content pays around 10 euros (1,000 COD points). Note that the purchased Battle Pass cannot be used to unlock items that have a gameplay advantage. Gameplay-relevant items such as the two new weapons (Groza and MAC 10) can be earned within the free levels.
On the Website for the current Call of Duty the developers present the first content from the Battle Pass. Anyone who decides to buy will receive the new Operator Stitch. You also get 100 COD points on each of 13 levels: Frequent players get the cost of the Battle Pass back. There are also weapon blueprints, finishing moves, stickers, talismans and more. You can get an impression of the content in the trailer included below.
