Infinity Ward has started Season 6 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone. In addition, an extensive update with many new features has been published for both games. In the blog for the shooter, the creators gave a look at the innovations. We have summarized an overview of the most important information about Season 6 in this message for you. We're starting with what's new for Call of Duty: Warzone.

Get from A to B quickly with the metro in Verdansk

Warzone players now have the option to quickly travel to another location using a Verdansk metro. According to the team, there will always be one station per round, equipped with valuable weapons and equipment. In addition, the metro will never go into an area that is outside the safety zone. If there is an exchange of fire next to the subway, the exit is also impossible.

These highlights are planned for Season 6 of the Shooter.

With the start of the new season, players can also look forward to a new mode and the next weapon rotation for Warzone. Armored Royale is the name of the new game variant in which squads start with a fully armored cargo truck. If the vehicle has not yet been destroyed, fallen squad members can always return to a game. If the truck is at the end, you fight for survival. Here, too, the team that remains in the end is crowned the winner.

New maps, game modes, and more for Modern Warfare

The makers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have added a total of four new locations. Each card was specially made for selected game modes. The following maps including their main game modes have made it in Modern Warfare.

  • Station – Gunfight
  • Broadcast – 6v6 matches
  • Mialstor Tank Factory – 6v6 & 10v10 matches
  • Verdansk Riverside – Ground War

In addition, Infinity Ward has added four new game modes as well as additional trials and challenges to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The new variants include Killstreak Confirmed, Gun Game TDM, HQ: Firefight and Hardpoint: Hills and Kills. To coincide with the start of Season 6, the creators also shared a trailer.
