from Philipp Sattler
In almost exactly a month it will be Christmas again and we are making ourselves comfortable at home in a festive mood. But even with the Christmas decorations, you don’t have to do without that certain nerd factor. And thanks to Amazon Black Friday, you don’t have to dig deep into your pockets for that either.

What would Christmas be without a festively decorated Christmas tree and a little festive decoration in the apartment or house? It doesn’t always have to be as stuffy as it was with our grandparents. Who says that on the top of the Christmas tree there has to be an angel and not a crying angel? Or Christmas baubles always have to be round and boring and this year the fairy lights can’t even shine in Yoda green? Right, nobody says that. Because if you are a nerd with all your heart, you won’t hide it at Christmas either. We have therefore selected a few inspirations with a high nerd factor for the right Christmas decorations.

And thanks to the current one Amazon Black Friday some of them are even cheaper than usual. And if you can’t do anything with the nerdy stuff, but just remember that you haven’t bought any decorations, we also have a few very classic decorative items for you.

This is my nerd …, uh, Christmas tree!

The Christmas tree is the central element of a Christmas decoration. And instead of simple red and gold balls, you can add all sorts of nonsense to it.

  • Why not a couple of balls instead of bullets pink unicorns and flying rainbows hang on the tree? This is certainly not just a pleasure for small children.
  • Or you miss it In these tough times, Santa Claus prefers a mouth and nose protection. Has Santa been vaccinated?
  • A Death star Of course, it looks good on every Christmas tree. In general, Star Wars is once again all the rage. For example with dangling stormtrooper heads, hanging R2-D2s or that small grogu with a round means of transport.
  • the Mini-TARDIS is actually too small to escape the stress of Christmas. But we know: “It’s bigger on the inside!”
  • And if you have one right next to it little crying angel then no one willingly avert his gaze.
  • The talking hat Unfortunately, it doesn’t sing to you, but it discreetly reveals that you’d rather spend time at Hogwarts under the twelve floating Christmas trees.
  • So that the question of whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas film is answered once and for all, you hide between all the other decorative items a little John McClane in the ventilation shaft.
  • And if all else fails and the family drives you crazy, then you grab one, two, twelve of them small boozeballsthat you previously hid on the tree. Small liquor bottles that look like Christmas tree balls.
  • At the very top of the tree, of course, the appropriate angel has to be. Or, in our case, one too Weeping angel – so that no one dares even blink when they look at our magnificent tree.
  • At least as great an eye-catcher is certainly one Darth Vader at the top of your Christmas tree!
  • For those who prefer it stuffy …

Fairy lights, socks and whatever you need at Christmas

But of course not only the Christmas tree can be decorated in a festive, nerdy way. You can also let your inner geek run free in other places.

  • Instead of normal socks over the fireplace, for example, you can also have a pair Wookiee socks hanging.
  • And why don’t you replace the fairy lights with a cooler variant?
  • The presents lie under the Christmas tree, in the proper style, of course Marvel superhero wrapping paper.
  • Or do you stick with it here too Star-Wars-Motiven?
  • And if not in at least one of the gifts of this fancy Yellow-Weihnachtspulli is inside, then the holidays can no longer be saved.
  • Those who prefer it stuffy …
