As promised some time ago, the development studio Firaxis Games released the extensive October update for the strategy game Civilization 6 shortly before the weekend. One of the big highlights is likely to be the new pirate scenario. Here you slip into the role of a privateer and have to earn your spurs as a horror of the seas. This includes plundering cities and ships, expanding your own fleet and locating powerful relics. With their help it is possible, among other things, to reduce the speed of movement of enemy ships or to reduce the maintenance costs of your own fleet.
Logically, the other nations do not look on indifferently, but also want to put a stop to the trade. The AI commanders from the ranks of the British or the Spanish will soon be clinging to your heels and chasing you across the waters. Two different maps are available for the pirate scenario, so that you still have a small selection. In addition, the October update for Civilization 6 (buy now € 13.88 /€ 53.99 ) numerous bug fixes, optimizations and other adjustments. The full patch notes can be found on the official website.
