Community is doing what Valve hasn't done in 11 years

It's hard to believe, but Left 4 Dead 2 is already 11 years old. Nevertheless, the game still has a strong community behind it and thanks to you the zombie first person shooter finally gets the long-awaited update.

Yes, Valve still takes care of Left 4 Dead 2 by occasionally performing security updates or bug fixes – we can't hope for more. That's why the community took it into their own hands and developed an update for the fans, that Valve has at least officially approved.

There aren't many details yet about what has been announced Update The Last Stand. The published teaser video leaves room for plenty of speculation, but at least one exists vague description:
