Craft in WoW Shadowlands: Determine secondary values yourself

from Sebastian Glanzer
in WoW Shadowlands, the RNG factor is removed when crafting equipment by determining which secondary values (pace, mastery, etc.) the item has. Three new optional bonuses have also been added.

Some time ago we reported on the optional reagents that will spice up the craft in WoW Shadowlands. In Shadowlands, you can add up to three additional bonuses to items manufactured by the blacksmith or leather processor (previously). Crafting items thus receive additional base spaces with special effects. You can see how this looks in the image from the previous alpha build.

The places for optional reagents are shown here with green plus symbols, on the right you can see a list of bonuses that you can add to the item. The items in the list partly come from different professions. Here you can, for example, use bonuses such as "You do a little more damage against wild animals" or provide another place with an item from the inscription expert, which increases the item's level by five points.

After listening to some of the players' feedback from Blizzard, the secondary values can now also be determined during production. In the picture above you select the green plus symbol at the bottom right ("Specify a secondary stat"). The developers remove a crucial random factor and make it less frustrating to create special items, the resources of which are limited, for example, weekly by boss drops.

In addition, with the latest Alpha build from WoW (buy now for € 14.99) Shadowlands added three new optional reagents that are now available for every armor slot. In our first look article on Optional Reagents, you can see more of these effects.
