Cyberpunk 2077: CD project revised system requirements – games current
If you look at the gameplay videos of the action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, you would think that it has immense system requirements. But if you want to play with the minimum or recommended settings, you don't really need such a good PC. It only becomes more demanding from the "High" setting.
New system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077
CD Projekt Red now has new, more detailed system requirements for the PC version of the action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now € 58.19 ) announced.
This is what the PC system requirements looked like so far:
Minimum requirements:
OS: Windows 7 or Windows 10 with 64-bit
DirectX version: DirectX 12
CPU: Intel i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
R.A.M: 8 GB
Graphic card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 with 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 470
Hard disk: 70 GB (SSD recommended)
Recommended requirements:
OS: Windows 10 with 64-bit
DirectX version: DirectX 12
CPU: Intel i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
R.A.M: 12 GB
Graphic card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 with 6 GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
Hard disk: 70 GB SSD

As you can see, the ultra graphics settings with ray tracing are especially tough. The entire VRAM of a Geforce RTX 3080 should be used. Even without ray tracing, you still need a Geforce RTX 2080S or 3070 or a Radeon RX 6800 XT for the ultra graphics settings.
It is also interesting that the ray tracing requirements only refer to Geforce RTX cards. The new Radeon RX 6000 are not mentioned, although they also support ray tracing.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One with a free upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
