Cyberpunk 2077 will be released next week after some postponements. After the release of Cyberpunk, the CD Projekt Red team is far from finished with their work. In the near future, fans can look forward to expansions and a multiplayer. CEO Adam Kaciński last spoke to investors about the new content for Cyberpunk 2077. According to this, CD Projekt sees the development of the multiplayer component as a standalone project, which is currently being produced by an independent team. Kaciński did not want to reveal any further details.
Until the start of the multiplayer, fans have to be patient. The multiplayer could appear next year at the earliest. Before that there will first be the expansion for the main game. First information about the multiplayer is definitely planned for 2021. CD Projekt Red has so far held back in this area to focus on the upcoming release of Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now € 58.19 ) to focus.
The title will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on December 10, 2020. Thanks to backward compatibility, the game will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. Just a few days ago, the makers of the console version for PlayStation and Xbox released. In the course of the next year there should be a real next-gen implementation of Cyberpunk 2077. The upgrade will then be free for all owners of the game.
