The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is a real graphic spectacle, especially on the PC with the highest settings. If the components of your computer allow it, you can expand the gaming experience with ray tracing. However, the technology requires a lot of power and even pushes current RTX models from Nvidia to their limits. A new mod should improve your frame rate a little thanks to optimized settings for ray tracing.
The project called "Optimized Raytracing Setting" was launched by modder "Romelsalwi" at the weekend Nexus mods released. The changes with the extension could provide better performance in Cyberpunk 2077 on some systems. You can find all details about the mod and the corresponding installation on the website. The modder made his project available to all players for free.
In the last few days, the CD Projekt Red team has received heavy criticism for the performance of Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now € 54.89 ) on standard PS4 and Xbox One models. In addition to many refunds, the title has now even been temporarily thrown from Sony's PlayStation Store. Support for ray tracing is currently only available on the PC and from GeForce Now. It can be assumed that the upcoming next-gen version for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will also offer ray tracing. However, details on this implementation are not yet available. The upgrade will be free for existing Cyberpunk 2077 owners.
