Almost a month after Cyberpunk 2077 launched, the Player Numbers clearly slumped compared to the start. After CD Projekt Red's title had over 830,000 players simultaneously on Steam in the first few days, the role-playing game has not quite reached the 200,000 user mark since the beginning of the week. However, this is not a bad value. With these numbers, Cyberpunk 2077 is still in the current Top 10 on Steam.
If you take a look at the player numbers for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from 2015, the slump for Cyberpunk 2077 came much earlier. The previous CD Projekt Red title had only suffered an 80 percent loss after three months. The number of players in Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now € 54.99 ) but only represent the current situation on Steam. At the same time, the title is also available in the Epic Games Store and at GOG. However, exact values are not available here. The same applies to the numbers on PlayStation and Xbox.
At its launch on December 10, 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 had to struggle with numerous problems. It cannot be ruled out that this is one reason for the falling number of players. Many users could now wait for further updates from CD Projekt Red and return to the title later. An update for the consoles is expected as early as January 2021. The team also wants the first one at the beginning of 2021 DLC for Cyberpunk 2077.
