Cyberpunk 2077: players report censorship, what's up? – Current games

If you look at discussions on Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, for example, then you inevitably stumble upon the fact that some claim that CD Projekt Red censored nudity with Patch 1.1. There would be no more advertisements showing, for example, bare breasts.

There is still nudity in Cyberpunk 2077

The fact is, there was actually a change with patch 1.04. In fact, it was previously the case that Hero V could run around completely naked in the game. Now he or she always wears underwear. The character in Adam's costume can only be seen in the inventory. As for in-game advertising, it's a little different.

The advertising rotates in the game. So you don't always see the same products and films on the billboards. So it is possible that you are driving through the streets and where a while ago you saw nudity in an advertisement, something completely different appears now. However, there are reports that the relevant advertising is still in play. Corresponding screenshot evidence is also available on Steam (via Steam).

If you are not sure whether "Nudity" is active for you, then open the options menu and then scroll down under Gameplay. There is an option to turn "nudity" on or off. Accordingly, you should also see advertisements aimed at adults. If that is not enough for you, then it is possible to download the Mod Underwear Remover (via NexusMods), with which you can also run around completely naked in the game world.

That Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now € 53.99 ) but it was censored with patch 1.1 does not seem to be true. The community is currently waiting for a hotfix for the Takemura bug, which hopefully will appear soon.
