CD Projekt Red needs to make some changes to the Japanese version of Cyberpunk 2077. Accordingly, the team has to forego nudity in the game, among other things, for the title to be released in the country. Depictions of violence and sexual content also need to be revised. This also limits the character editor, among other things.
According to current reports, Cyberpunk 2077 in Japan will receive some changes to be allowed to appear in stores at all. Accordingly, there will generally be no nudity in the game. All figures in Cyberpunk 2077, in which genitals can be seen, are equipped with underpants. Of course this is also the case Character editor affected, who will no longer offer corresponding options.
The Night City game world will also be updated. Among other things, advertising spaces that show genitals or similar forms are completely removed from the title. Selected sexual representations in Cyberpunk 2077 will also be missing in the Japanese version. The separation of body parts and the amount of blood in clashes have also been revised. In Germany, Cyberpunk 2077 will most likely appear in stores with a USK license from the age of 18.
Just a few weeks ago, the release of the new game by CD Projekt Red was postponed again for a few weeks. Now Cyberpunk is 2077 (buy now for 58.48 €) to hit stores on November 19, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title will also be compatible with Sony and Microsoft's next-gen consoles from day 1 and will even offer some improvements. CD Projekt Red also announced an anime series for 2022. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will only be seen on Netflix. There is a first glimpse in the video above.
