In Guns Akimbo, Daniel Radcliffe involuntarily takes part in a video game-like fight for survival. The trailer reveals whether the pistols riveted to his hands help or interfere.

In a world like a crazy video game, the character of Ryan Reynolds can be found in the film Free Guy … Oh, sorry! This is the wrong film. Again at the beginning:

In a world like a crazy video game, Daniel Radcliffe's character in the film Guns Akimbo finds himself in the middle of a perverse game of life and death. In the real-life video game Skis, randomly selected people fight for survivalwhile thousands of viewers watch the live streams of these gladiatorial battles.

Miles (Daniel Radcliffe) is quite a loser and likes the Skism streams. But he messes with the wrong people and is mugged in his apartment. When he wakes up he is part of the game and has to beat the undefeated winners Nix (Samara Weaving)to get out of it. Oh, and guns were riveted to his hands.

The whole thing is a colorful mixture of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Purge, The Running Man and a lost Saints Row DLC. There is also a fair amount of brutality and probably a lot of jokes that Daniel Radcliffe can no longer use his hands. Oh, and he doesn't have trousers but plush slippers. Directed by Jason Lei Howden (Deathgasm).

Now we all finally know where this meme comes from:

Let's see what happens when the next video game merges. The film will be shown in cinemas in the U.S. from March 5, 2020. There is no release date for Germany yet.

What do you say about Guns Akimbo's trailer? A movie you would watch or absolutely not your case?
