For Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Mid-Season 2 update is imminent: The activation is planned for this week. More details about the launch of the update are now available. Like the popular one, among others Fan site Charlie Intel reports, the PS4 already provides an exact date for the start of the major update. Patch 1.14 is already available as a preload on the Sony console. The update will therefore be activated on March 30th, at 6 a.m. German time. “This is the mid-season update. The preload is only available on PS4,” writes the fansite.
Whether the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update is also on PS5 (buy now 53,99 € ) can be downloaded in advance is not yet known. The download size of the patch is around 7 gigabytes. It still remains to be seen which changes and innovations the update will actually bring about: Treyarch wants to submit the patch notes at a later date. However, the developers have already published the first teasers for the mid-season 2 update in the past few days – and thus provided information on the new content. Extensive balancing changes are planned for individual weapons in Black Ops Cold War.
With the start of the update, new multiplayer maps should also be added to the first-person shooter. This includes the Mansion map, where you play matches in 2v2 Gunfight mode. Furthermore, the developers had already confirmed the Golova map in a roadmap for Season 2. Miami Strike, on the other hand, should be able to be played in daylight from now on – and offer smaller areas than the original version. In addition, a new sniper rifle could come into play with the ZRG 20mm. Just recently, the makers integrated the R1 Shadowhunter. As usual, we will keep you up to date in our news area.
