Actor Ryan Reynolds is apparently currently in negotiations with Netflix to take the lead in a film about the video game classic Dragon's Lair. In the film and in the game, Knight Dirk sets out to rescue Princess Daphne from the claws of the dragon Singe.
As The Hollywood Reporter reports, Netflix After a year full of negotiations, get the film rights to the video game classic Dragon's Lair and is now preparing for the project.
The Dragon's Lair film is picking up speed
Actor Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) is supposed to take the lead and produce the film with his company Maximum Effort. Don Bluth, who helped to develop Dragon's Lair in 1983, is also on board as a producer.
The story of the game and then probably of the film revolves around the brave, if somewhat clumsy knight Dirk, who sets out to save Princess Daphne. This was kidnapped by the sinister dragon Singe. The hero travels to the castle of the magician Mordroc, where he has to fight monsters and survive deadly traps. When released, Dragon's Lair captivated with its graphics and played like a cartoon from that time.
When we can expect the filming of Dragon's Lair on Netflix is not yet clear.
