Delirium League and its innovations are revealed!
The first league of 2020 in Path of Exile was unveiled: it is called delirium and is supposed to fill all areas of the game with even more challenges, even existing league mechanics. Because everywhere you will find the mirrors of delirium that you go through to cause a mysterious fog. This reinforces the monsters in the area, but also creates new nightmares that you can face in increasingly difficult battles.
Mastered mechanics suddenly become heavy again
If you think that you now know the dangers of Wraeclast perfectly, you should be careful: The madness of delirium even affects league mechanics across the board. Regardless of whether you go into the Vaal pyramid with Alva, knock out armies from Legion or only fight a monster from one essence: delirium can influence these battles and make them much tougher, but of course also entices with more loot.
In the endgame you can control yourself how much you want to face the dangers of delirium. For this you use spheres of delirium, influence the maps of the atlas and cover the entire area with madness. You can use up to five spheres with different rewards (currency, card items, essences, etc.) on one card. With each additional sphere, the challenge increases.
In the fog of delirium you will meet stronger and stronger opponents – if you go too far, your greed could be your undoing.

As always, your own greed for a better loot can doom you. But in the depths of your madness you can find Simulacrum fragments, of which you can combine 100 to form a Simulacrum to face a new endgame challenge (similar to Breach, Legion & Co). Speaking of loot – this is particularly interesting in patch 3.10.0!
New gems expand Path of Exile's talent tree
Together with the Delirium League, the so-called cluster jewels find their way into the game. With these you can enlarge the already gigantic talent tree of Path of Exile. If you place them on the edge of the tree, this reveals new nodes with passive effects. In this way, building a build in ARPG will probably be even more complex and interesting, because you will get unique new effects. For example, this gives you access to the passive "Empty Hands", which rewards fighting without gloves and weapons with attack speed and physical attack damage (per 10 skill). In total, there are 280 new passives through randomly generated cluster jewels – so have fun trying them out!

Improvements to the Atlas of the Worlds
After the update Conquerors of the Atlas changed the endgame of PoE in parallel to the Metamorph League, the Atlas of Worlds will be improved in delirium: Conquerors should no longer appear randomly, but have a clear counter that tells you how many maps you visit until they spawn again. In addition, Vaal secondary areas and the temple of Atzoatl should be more worthwhile again.
In addition to these innovations, there are of course new skill gems and unique pieces of equipment and new supporter packs in the shop.

The Delirium League will start on March 13th with Patch 3.10.0, replacing the Metamorph League, the challenge rewards of which will no longer be available from this point.
