Producer Hisashi Nogami also has an opinion on the crossover and states:
"So, Animal Crossing and Doom – obviously the genres are totally different. Still, we definitely have something in common and that's that they are both video games – and they both have a subcultural background. It's so great to see these two different fandoms come together and celebrate the gaming community and gaming culture as such. It's really great to watch. ”
