Just recently, those responsible at Koch Media presented Prime Matter, a new premium gaming label that will in future take care of the publication of upcoming games as a global service provider. Among other things, the first-person shooter Painkiller should return with a new title. One of Prime Matter’s highlights should be Payday 3, which has now been presented by the Starbreeze developer studio.

Payday 3 is the third offshoot of the co-op FPS series and will take place in an environment that is very reminiscent of Hollywood. Players will take on the role of a professional criminal who joined the payday gang to become a master thief. In a world dominated by law enforcement officers, the organization has built a reputation for being raided with very valuable loot. But not all characters from the underworld are benevolent towards the group and the Payday gang not only has to defend itself against the law, but also against numerous criminals who target the group.
As announced a few months ago, the title will be developed with Unreal Engine 4 and will use new technologies to create a “universe full of robberies”.
An exact release date is not yet known, however the title is expected to be released sometime in 2023.
