Disney +: New content for Star Wars Day in May – with documentary series for The Mandalorian – Gamesaktuell

Disney + gives details of the program on Star Wars Day 2020. The streaming service wants to celebrate the global holiday among Star Wars fans. Therefore, on May 4, the big series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – The Final Season. "With the last episode on May 4th, fans worldwide will have the opportunity to watch the finale together on Star Wars Day," Disney Plus said. The conclusion deals with the events that led to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

In addition, Disney + will add another original to its program on May 4: Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. In it, executive producer Jon Favreau invites the actors and crew to share a never-before-seen view of how the series came about. The documentary series for The Mandalorian is designed for real episodes. Each chapter sheds light on a different facet of the first Star Wars real film series through interviews, never-before-seen footage and discussion groups – moderated by Jon Favreau.

The themes of the documentary series on Disney + include the production process, the legacy of George Lucas' Star Wars, Cast that brought characters to life, the technology of the series, the artistry behind the models, creatures and effects. A few days earlier, on May 1st, The Mandalorian's big season finale is on Disney +. New episodes are online every Friday. On April 17th, Chapter 6 "The Prisoner" follows. Season 2 is scheduled to start on Disney Plus in October 2020.
