Gamigo officials have announced that the online role-playing game Dragon's Prophet and quasi-successor Savage Hunt will be discontinued at the end of May 2020. For less than a month, you can still frolic in the fantasy worlds of the two MMOs.

Sad news for fans of the fantasy MMO Dragon's Prophet or the new edition Savage Hunt: Dragon's Prophet, because after the US servers were discontinued two years after their release in November 2015, the same fate now hits the European realms – but at least it has something to do with it another five years. As the operators of Gamigo announce, the servers of Dragon's Prophet and Savage Hunt will be closed on May 29, 2020. The community receives this message just two weeks before the server closes. Until then, however, there will be a server event in which all heroes and their dragon companions can let off steam. From May 14, 2020, there will be a server-wide drop chance booster for items of quality green or higher. And the creation festival is also celebrated.

Payment options were disabled when the bad news was released on May 12, 2020, and the currencies you still have can be squandered with a 90 percent discount. To bid you farewell to Dragon's Prophet (buy now) and to make Savage Hunt a little sweeter, people will give you a voucher for free item packages for the other games operated by Gamigo, such as ArcheAge or Rift – just take a look around. Also on May 29, 2020, in addition to the MMO servers, the associated website and forum will be removed from the network, but you can still contact customer support.

Dragon's Prophet shone with a colorful fantasy world inspired by Asian MMOs – sure, the game also comes from the Taiwanese developer studio Runewaker, which also makes Runes of Magic – and the interesting dragon theme. Because depending on the role you wanted to fulfill, you could call another dragon to your side, such as one that fills up for you or another that heals your heroes.
