The voice of the nasty witches in Resident Evil Village belonged to actress and voice actress Jeanette Maus. She died after eight months of fighting colon cancer.

Young actor dies far too soon

Jeanette Maus also suffered from Crohn's disease and was also infected with the coronavirus. All of this led to further complications in the course of the disease. Janette's partner Dusty Warren confirmed her passing with a statement on Facebook: "With a shaken but grateful heart, I inform you that Jeanette Maus died last night of complications from cancer."

"Jeanette was really an artist and felt very grateful to live as such," said a statement from John Rosenfeld Studios, where Jeanette Maus taught. "She had an indomitable mind and was hungry to be the best person, the best teacher, the best friend, and the best actress she could be. The world has lost a force of nature and we will feel it for a long time . "

Capcom wrote on Twitter: "Here at Capcom R&D 1 we are deeply saddened by the passing of Jeanette Maus, the talented actress who helped create various characters, including our witches, in Resident Evil Village (buy now € 69.99 ) into the world of the game. Our condolences go out to their families and loved ones. "

Jeanette Maus was not only known for her dubbing, for example as the witches mentioned in Resident Evil Village. She also looked after young actors such as Kerri Medders, Charlie Bushnell, Cameron Gellman, Quinn Lozar, Maggie Budzyna and Lisette Alexis. She appeared in the movie Charm City Kings and co-wrote the script for the drama My Effortless Brilliance.
