At the time of Tenet's theatrical release, cinema-goers in selected countries seem to get a foretaste of Dune. The complete trailer should then be published on the Internet in two weeks on September 9, 2020. The new edition by director Denis Villeneuve will start this year. It looks like we will see a first trailer from Dune soon. The remake by director Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049) will open in German cinemas on December 17, 2020. At the international theatrical release of Christopher Nolan's Tenet, there now seems to be a preview of the film in selected countries. Among other things, moviegoers in Canada are currently reporting on various social media channels from a look at the new edition.
At the end of the sneak peak, there should be a notice that the complete trailer will appear on the Internet on September 9, 2020. So there could be the first taste of Dune in two weeks. In April 2020, David Lynch (then director of the original) commented on the remake. Accordingly, the filmmaker has no interest in seeing the remake of Denis Villeneuve. And this despite the fact that the film is filled with many well-known names from Hollywood acting.
