Dust off PS Plus at a budget price – but not for all players

PlayStation Plus: Sony is offering a short-term annual subscription for 44.99 euros

With Sony's subscription service PlayStation Plus, users can not only access the online mode of multiplayer games, but also get some free games every month. In January, these include Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Maneater and GreedFall. Action fans in particular will get their money's worth this month.

Normally, the annual subscription with Sony costs around 60 euros, the last time the service was reduced on Black Friday. Now the company is again offering its subscription service at a lower price – customers can save 25 percent, so the bottom line is that they pay only 44.99 euros. The problem: The offer is only available to PlayStation players who do not have an active subscription – so to speak for new customers or "returners". If you are already a member of PlayStation Plus, you cannot benefit from the lower price.

Secure PlayStation Plus at a great price: How long is the special offer valid?

If you take a look at the PlayStation Store, you will see that the offer is only valid for a short time. On January 19, 2020, next Tuesday at 11 a.m., Sony will turn the tap off again and removes the discount from the online shop. So if you are thinking about taking out the annual subscription, you shouldn't take too much time.
