After the release of Star Wars Squadrons, the EA Motive team is already busy with new projects. While rumors about another Star Wars game have only been denied, according to journalist Jeff Grubb, the makers are working on a well-known EA brand that will apparently make many fans happy.

Among other things, the followers of Mirror’s Edge made a little hope that SHE possibly working on another game in the series. In 2016, DICE participated with Mirror’s Edge Catalyst published the last offshoot so far. Since the makers of DICE are mainly busy with Battlefield 6 or Star Wars Battlefront, there is currently not much left for another game. Moving from Mirror’s Edge to another studio would have made sense for the fan base. In a podcast, Jeff Grubb spoke again about the EA Motive project and for the time being buried all hopes of Mirror’s Edge supporters.

According to his information, it is not a successor to Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Players will also have to wait a little longer for the mysterious project to be revealed. As part of EA Play Live in July, the publisher should not reveal anything about the title of Motive. Furthermore, players can only speculate about which project the “established EA-IP” is about.
