Early access of the RPG started

The early access phase of the role-playing game Baldur's Gate 3 is currently convincing with tactical round-the-clock battles. This is exactly what the RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister offers – even with a D&D license.

You can now download the Early Access version from Steam. The game is reduced from EUR 34.99 to EUR 29.74 by October 27. You can expect the first chapter of the story and a small part of Chapter 2. The developers explain that this insight into the role-playing game should occupy you for around ten hours. The playing time does not come close to that of BG 3, but Solasta costs significantly less.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister – RPG gets official D&D license

The role-playing game Solasta: Crown of the Magister has received the official license of the pen & paper RPG Dungeons & Dragons.

The role-playing game Solasta: Crown of the Magister wants to convince just like BG 3 with tactical round-robin battles in which you have to use the environment for your strategies. It is even possible, like in Baldur's Gate 3, to push enemies off bridges, for example. The game is played from an isometric perspective.

At the beginning you can either choose four ready-made heroes or create your own characters. Then the game begins with flashbacks in which the heroes tell of their last adventure. This serves as a tutorial before the real adventure begins. Round fights play a major role in this. These offer something special because "verticality" is important. Enemies can attack you from all directions. And this is exactly what you can of course use in your strategies, which makes the fights extremely tactical.

The final version of the role-playing game Solasta: Crown of the Magister will not appear until next year. An exact date is currently not available.
