The Epic Games Store has also prepared a free game for the coming week. As the download platform announces on its website, the full version of Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition will be available for free next Thursday (January 14th). Users are then given a week to link the PC version to their profile free of charge – another free game should follow after that. To get access to the free game, you need an account with the Epic Games Store. Note that you have to link the full versions offered to your profile within the promotional period in order to secure them permanently. Once you've done that, you can play the games an unlimited number of times. Until the new free full version is activated, you will still get access to the free PC game that the Epic Games Store is distributing this week.
Since 5 p.m. you have been grabbing the full version of Crying Suns for free. The tactical roguelite is available to download for free until January 14th. The Epic Games Store was already distributing at least one PC game a week in 2019 and 2020. Users have already been able to put together a quite large game library. Due to strong full versions such as GTA 5, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Civilization 6, the platform has recently seen strong user growth.
