Resident Evil Infinite Darkness: The Synopsis

The upcoming CGI series from Netflix was announced in the fall of 2020, but there was not much information about it yet. That should change now and so the streaming service recently published the synopsis of the upcoming "Resident Evil" series and it appears it will lead you to the White House.

“In 2006, traces of unauthorized access to secret files belonging to the President were found on the White House network. American federal agent Leon S. Kennedy is one of the group invited to the White House to investigate the incident. But when the lights suddenly go out, Leon and the SWAT team have to hunt down a horde of mysterious zombies.

Meanwhile, TerraSave employee Claire Redfield comes across a mysterious picture drawn by a youth in a country she visited while helping refugees. Plagued by this drawing, which appears to show a victim of a viral infection, Claire begins her own research.

The next morning, Claire visits the White House to request the construction of a social facility. There she has a chance reunion with Leon and uses the opportunity to show him the drawing of the boy. Leon seems to see some sort of connection between the zombie outbreak at the White House and the strange drawing, but tells Claire that there is no connection. Over time, these two zombie outbreaks lead to events in distant lands that shake the nation to its foundations. "
