After the great success of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Electronic Arts is striving to further expand this hype and to revive the single player experience in the Star Wars universe. A new job advertisement gives hope that a sequel to EA's surprise hit is being worked on.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a welcome return of the story-based single-player mode in Electronic Arts, otherwise so dominated by the multiplayer Star Wars universe. With the exciting combat system and the interesting story, the game excited us, critics and fans at the same time. In the first two weeks, Fallen Order made more digital purchases than any other Star Wars game by the publisher. Speculation about a sequel was fueled for the first time when Fallen-Order-Studio Respawn commented positively on the development of another part.
"Our Star Wars team needs replenishment"
Since the beginning of December EA is looking for a senior software developerdesigned to give players an incredible Star Wars experience. Although Respawn is not mentioned by name, it can be assumed that they will be working on another single player game.
"We introduce ourselves to someone who is passionate about the Star Wars universe and is enthusiastic about the idea of programming a third-person action / adventure game."
Other areas of responsibility are the close collaboration with designers, artists, animators and the development of responsive controls for smooth gameplay.
On the part of EA and Respawn there are still no official confirmation for a continuation of their franchise. The question also arises as to whether the next part will build on the Cal Kestis adventure or whether we will see a completely new story.

Hopefully, EA has now understood that non-multiplayer games can also be successful. Finally single player games again – but that was about time! What do you hope for a possible sequel? Should Cal's story be continued or is it time for a new character? Let us know in the comments.
