In the past WoW years, Dalaran saw himself not only as a hub and gathering point for both factions, but also as a popular modding object for the fan community. Today we show you the latest Dalaran fan project – created in the open world game "Minecraft". Have fun!
The open-world game "Minecraft" offers every modder the ideal place for a creative explosion because of the sandbox nature. Works of art are created partly based on one's own imagination, partly based on architectural masterpieces from the worlds of film, series and video games.
But not only cities and their buildings (such as the castle of Stormwind and Orgrimmar, Atal'Dazar or Goldhain's inn "to the cave of the lion") were implemented in Minecraft – also the inhabitants who live in them, like we at Arang Chois Illidan, Ragnaros – as well as the death swing adaptation.
Today we would like to introduce you to a work of art of a very special kind: Dalaran in all its Minecraft glory – a city that is based on a story that is both confusing and epic.
Dalaran as a Minecraft city
Dalaran sees itself as one of the seven kingdoms of men and as the kingdom of magic. Redditor LapisBroSammy In our opinion, we succeeded in transporting this magic into the Minecraft world.
Dalaran sees itself as an extremely popular object of replication in the modder scene. The modder "Mystic Nefro" dedicated himself to the magical city in December last year and recreated it in the Warcraft 3 Reforged engine.
The Minecraft lover claims to have been working on the project since the Warlords of Draenor era (around 2016) – sometimes more, sometimes less. In our opinion, top-down views of the city's towers are particularly impressive. But see for yourself:
